Congrats on your surgery Mine was 7/28. 7/29 wasn't so bad, I definitely started eating jello, Muscle Milk Light, drinking Propel and Crystal Light. Having tried the sugar free popsicles yet, will have to give that a shot. I'm still taking painkillers, I'm more sore around my incisions today, but I think that's normal. Walking, I've done alot of that, walking up and down the street 2 or 3 times a day, trying to avoid the heat in the middle of the day is the challenge. I'm having more nausea this morning (7/30). I've been taking the Gas-X strips, and gas is not as much of a problem, not feeling bloated. I haven't had the pain the shoulders and neck that others talk about. Also consuming broth, it helps.

I had alot more gas yesturday , today isnt as bad but I do have alot of gas , so burping and farts are life savers Lol

i had my surgery on 7/28 also. the gas is killing me yet today!! i've been walking a few times, but my stomach is so sore and i still get dizzy. everytime i drink something, it feels like i have to burp, but it won't come up and this searing pain in my chest happens. i've been taking gas ex, but i'm getting frustrated.

I am having the same issue when I drink , at times i am able to push out small burps which is a relief , but all in all this is all normal
