Accountability what's it mean to you? What dies it mean to me. While I have none. I try to have it but it doesn't matter I will find every excuse in the book not to do what I'm supposed to do. I want to change that so badly. I want to be successful at everything in my life. Or r least try and try harder than I am. I'm good at my job and honestly I think that about sums it up. I'm not good at much else.  I'm an all or nothing kind of person.  Being like that is a bad thing because you get tired of the all then I give nothing. So that's not a good way.  I'm spiraling out of control and I need to do something and fast. It's like I know what to do so why is it so hard to do. I would say take it one day at a time but maybe I should take it one hour at a time just make it through an hour an then worry about the next hour. I don't know the answer I guess if I did I wouldn't be where I'm at right now.

Don't get discouraged. Many of us feel as you do from time to time. It is a hard struggle this lapband journey. It does not come easy that's for sure. But when you see the lbs. coming off, it is the best feeling in the world. I was cleaning out my closet yesterday for the first time in years. I previously avoiding doing it because I did not want to be reminded of the huge ugly large size clothes that I had been wearing. Well now that I am only 4 months post op and down from size 3x to extra large, it is just amazing at how huge those clothes look to me now. I actually got a sick feeling in my stomach looking at them and I vowed to myself never to ever get like that again. It feels wonderful to be 50 lbs. less already. So I am telling you the struggle every day is def worth it. Hang in there you will see! Do other things to distract yourself from eating, drink more water and low cal liquids. And if you have to eat something, make sure it is low cal low fat. Get rid of all the junk food in the house. This will make it so much easier. And don't forget to add protein to your everyday diet. The more the better. I sprinkle protein powder in sugar free puddings, etc. You can't taste it and it def makes you feel fuller. I still drink at least one protein shake a day for the extra protein. Good luck to you, and keep us posted. :)
