This is going to be harder than I thought. Maybe I should have waited to restart my journey until after I am fully recovered from my current case of bronchitis. Then again that just means putting it off again and coming up with another excuse not to get started. Does prednisone make you hungry? Does it make it harder for food to go down? I am thinking at this point that the answer to both of those questions is yes. Not really craving, but wanting to graze is more like it. I need to go to the store and get more healthy things to graze on like fruit and veggies instead of bryers chocolate chip ice cream! I really just need to be able to breath so that I can excercise! I must stay focused, I must stay focused!!!!!!!

Yes! Prednisone makes you hungry. It sucks! Fight the urge to eat my friend lol! It can make you feel ravenous! I wish I knew some magical thing to help you with it.. but prednisone is part of the reason I ended up getting to my lap band surgery in the first place. Breathing is good.. and prednisone will definitely help you with that in a case of bronchitis. I feel for you! Hang in there!

Be cafeful in what you eat. Prednisone is a steroid and it can cause rapid weight gain, but don't panick, when you come off the drug you'll loose the weight. Just know it going in so you don't freak out if the scale goes up.

YES!! Prednisone makes you starving and also wired up and crazy. It works but the docs sometimes tell you you are only retaining fluids but in my case I was retaining fat! I would be up all night eating and talking to myself! I hated that drug but sometimes you need it...good luck!
