Day 7 Pre-Op Diet

ChoseLife

Another Bad Day. I was doing good all day had my shakes for breakfst and lunch. Walked to work. Had 2 hard boiled eggs for snack in between shakes. Had leftover turkey breast with some salsa. Lots of water. Then late last night my husband again starts bugging me that he is hungry. He wants pizza. I denyed him pizza and then he started with Tacos so I gave in. I ate 4 DQ tacos with taco sauce and 1 foot long chili cheese coney. Oh and another cupcake. Whats wrong with me? I do great all day and then I go crazy just before bed. I know I had several calories leftover for the day but I really over did it. I think my weakness is being home. Tonight I have class so hopefully I won't be tempted. I weighed in today and I haven't lost anymore weight but fortunately I haven't gained any but if I keep going like this it won't be long till it bites me in the butt. My Weight was 381.4. GNC Weight 3 days ago was 380.9. But different scales.

Husbands are dangerous! I call my husband Benedict Arnold as he is constantly in the kitchen or going out to eat when he promised to be in solidarity with me. I managed to lose the pre-op weight and not cheat during the post-op liquids (which is MUCH HARDER) by avoiding my husband and his eating habits. It's only natural to eat together as I'm sure you've done for years, but I've had to seperate myself from him and his meals. Send your husband out by himself or be in another room when he's eating. Eventully, you will be able to join him again :-) Stay strong!

Stay strong is right! You need to shrink that liver before surgery! I drooled a little reading what you had....Ithere is no way my new tummy would let me eat any of that! I was banded 9 months ago and have lost 65 pounds with 20 very stubborn ones to go. You need to ignore your husband since he is not being supportive (how easy to say & hard to do!). You made a decision to change your life, do this for you and your happiness and hopefully your hubby will begin to see the positive changes you are making and be more supportive! Good luck! Keep us posted!
