Yes its gas pain. The best thing you can do is walk, walk, walk and i had my husband do karate chops to back and shoulders. good luck.

yea that's what the doctor said . he said nothing about my chest hurting though. they found a hernia while in surgery and removed it, so that's the only thing i can imagine making my chest hurt. i do however feel so much better though than i did yesterday. I'm not hungry art all, the fluids are doin my justice! ive experience a little but i nausea but that is expected.

well all they gave me was pain killers and meds for nausea. and they recommend you to walk as much as possible. that will relieve some of the gas pain. You have to make sure the blood keeps flowing.

I'm in day 6 post op and still have gas pain that effects my left shoulder blade, not sure if it's just the gas bumping up to a place that's always sore from working on a computer or not. When I breath deeply i can still feel discomfort through out my chest but it's so much better and I do walk everyday.

It will get better in time. I had the chest, neck and shoulder pain too. I also had a hernia repaired. Take care. Glad you did well. :)
