It sound like you have the right frame of mind. You do have to work with the band. You have already started to get your mind set in the right dirtection! I am six months out. I have loss close to 60 lbs. I love it! As you go down this road, keep up with your positive way of thinking.

I don't blame. I am lucky that very few people have said negative things to be about getting the lap band. They don't understand how hard it is to continually lose and gain weight. I think that some people are just jealous or looking for an easy road. I like the band because you have to work with it for weight lost and it's basically your decision not to graze, work out and work with the band.

You can do it! Keep the positive and forget the negative.

Yup, forget the negative and just proceed with the positive. It will be a slow loss some days, but ALWAYS worth it!

When you have people make statements that are not in line with your goals dismiss them. It's hard enough go follow all the rules of your band without the haters saying negative things to kill your drive and motivation.
