Good Luck to you!!! I'm being banded the next day, on the 9th. Very nervous, but ready to get it over with. Wondering what the magnesium citrate is for? Haven't heard or read anything about that??

Its to "clean" you out I guess. lol every Dr. is different. Now that you mention it I have not read anything about it either. I remember you saying you were getting banded the 9th. Do you know what time your surgery is? Or do you have to wait till the day before like I did. I am very excited please let me know how yours goes as well

Best of luck! I have been banded 7 months today and I am so happy I did it! I was really nervous after I arrived at the clinic and had to wait, the rest was a piece of cake. 5 days after I felt little pain at all.

Congrats!! I was banded on the 1st. I only had 1 week on the pre-op and have lost 18lbs in two weeks. It was not hard at all to be on clear liquids; the problem is the gas:( it has been very uncomfortable. I had alot of pain on my left shoulder and the doctor said to walk,walk,walk. I did and by the third day it was gone. I feel ok now that I am on the second week and on full liquids.

I hope for the best and remember to walk.
