My Fat Passenger (think Dexter)

Anyone that read/watches Dexter knows about his "dark passenger" that is his inner voice that urges him to kill.

Well, recently I discovered I have a fat passenger. She is a morbidly obese woman who is addicted to eating. I kept trying to shut her up with cheeseburgers and sadly she started taking over my body. So, I'm not going to give in to the bitch any more . She can whine all she wants but I am taking control back. hahahaha

Having a "fat passenger" that calls to you and makes you eat things that are not good for you is right on. What a great reference to how our minds sometimes take control of our body and make us do things we know are wrong. I also watch Dexter and his dark passenger is very much like our fat passenger. We don't kill anyone, thankfully, like Dexter. However, we DO hurt ourselves and, some of us, do end up killing ourselves, with our poor eating habits!.

What a great analogy between Dexter's "dark passenger" and your "fat passenger". I think I have a "fat passenger", too. This "fat passenger" tries to get me to eat high fat and high calorie foods even when I'm trying to lose weight. Similar to Dexter where his dark passenger tries to get him to kill someone, my fat passenger tries to kill me by getting me to eat bad foods! Thankfully, I am winning the battle with my "fat passenger".

It really does help whenever the cravings come! I don't mind yelling at my fat passenger but once I start asking her questions maybe then I'll be concerned

Haha I talk to my stomache when it growls. One time I was drinking my broth and it growled really loud. I looked down at my stomach and said aloud "No, you can not complain! You get you what get and you dont throw a fit" haha It's what I tell my kids when they whine.

Love Dexter too...And I am kicking my Fat Passenger to the curb. Sounds like you've done well with your progress. My surgery is Tues. and I am finally ready to ride this one out alone...No Passengers Allowed.:P
