I too would love a buddy. I will hopefully be getting banded at the end of Feb. I am scheduled to see the surgeon next week.

I could use some support and encouragement. Just banded on the 12th of Jan., two weeks ago today. I lost 6 lbs in the first week and haven't lost anything since then. My calorie intake is so far below what it

was pre-surgery, that I can't believe I haven't lost any more than that. I need to lose about 55 lbs. so I don't expect to lose it as rapidly as someone that needs to lose 100. What seems to be the typical rate of loss in the first few weeks after surgery? Thanks so much for your help!

hi everyone i am very excited and scared as i am going to brussels alone to be banded. i have read lots and really hope that i am able to loose the weight that i need to live my life the way i want to.i could really do with a support buddie as my husband although supportive doesnt see the need for me to have it lol
