Day 4 of the Boost 4 times a day and light dinner. Day 1 and 2 weren't as bad as 3 and 4 and I have 4 more days to go till surgery. My doctor didn't make it mandatory but I didn't want to wake up and not have been banded due to fatty liver. Any suggestions on how to get thru 4 more days? I find that something is making me nauseous, all the protein or lack of food. I have had to nibble on a cracker to get over the nausea. I'm doing this banding with my husband so he is on the same boost and light dinner and he is fine (I could smack him sometimes) and has lost 7 pounds and me NOTHING  . He does weigh alot more than me so maybe that is it. Any little tips would be helpfull..

Just keep focusing on the big picture!! Stay busy and preoccupy your mind. Most of the time it is our mind that is hungry and not our bellies so if we can occupy our minds (which isn't easy) then it gets easier. Whenever you think you are hungry..take a walk, get online, read a book, clean out a closet...do anything that will distract you from wanting to eat or think of food. Don't compare yourself to anyone else (including your husband and especially men). Everyone loses weight different. Remain positive...that actually was one of my best contributors to losing weight and it was something I also had just it was hidden deep down inside! I wish you the very best!

you can do it, stay positive. I was on a 2 week liquid diet pre op, dont think i didnt want to cheat, it was during Christmas time, it was hard but worth it! I did have a few days for not being so nice but those passed. You will be better off when you go into have your surgery. dont focus on the pounds and keep busy the time will be here before you know it
