New Year and I am going to get out of the 300's!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I am going to go into the new year with a new set of goals. Today, I have decided to eat one meal a day and do liquids for the rest of the day. I love breakfast so I probably will have solids then. I am at 312 so I am going to do this until I see 299. I pray for dedication and courage. I know it's not going to be easy but I just have to get out of the 300's before January is up! I wanted to be 299 by the first but it didn't happen. I am not going to complain about it but move on. My plan is to do 1 hour of exercise for 5 days a week and eat/drink 1000 to 1200 calories a day. I am happy with my progress so far but I haven't seen a 2 in front of my weight in over 10 years so I am too ready for this change!

I would perhaps do protein shakes to keep up your protein or you might become anemic. Speak with your doctor before doing anything that radical.

Good luck..you are almost there! I agree with the others about getting enough protein. I found these protein shots at Sam's club that are 32 grams of protein and about 150 (or close to it) calories. When I have a day that is difficult to get enough protein, I drink one of these. It is already a little over half of the protein that I need. :)

I research a lot of different thing about having a band, and I determine what works best for me. You have lost a lot of weight and the rest will come in time. My doctor always reminds me that the weight did not come over night and it's not going to leave over night.
