It depends on your Dr.... my Dr gave me this 2 week pre-op diet

*Protein shake in the morning

*4oz lean chicken or turkey or fish

1 cup of steamed veggies 2 cups of raw veggies

1 cup of just green salad with light dressing

1 cup of broth chicken, beef or veggie

*protein shake for dinner

Soo it really depends what your dr tell you..

my doctor didnt really tell me i had to diet before hand, but suggested I do. I am pretty much doing what u said. It's been a week since the new diet, I'm pretty used to it. Protein shakes in the am replace my coffee :( that's def the hardest thing to get used to. No coffee  haha

yes, my pre-op plan was similar to what was mentioned. I had two protein shakes a day. My one meal would be green salad with some type of lean meat, no dressing. No carbs whatsoever. My doctor was pretty strict but I lost 17 pounds in two weeks so it worked. Good luck with your surgery and I'll see you in bandland!!!
