Trust me, hunger is not an issue after surgery! The broth you eat is more than enough, it's all your new tummy can handle. Take it slow, slow slow. Best advice I can give you! Good luck!!

You will not be hungry for a few weeks. Then when the hunger returns it will be time for a fill. So no worries. Good luck

Thanks you guys so much for your comments! I just got home from the hospital and am doing great. I thought I'd be in alot of pain but I'm not. I feel really good, just a little sore and some shoulder pain (which I think is gas pains). I think this site is so great. Everyone seems so willing to share their advice and experiences and I know I'm gonna need it! Now, nappy time for me:).

I am thinking about getting banded in January or February of 11'. I am affraid and somewhat nervous. I dont know what to think about the food issues and all the possible side effects. I really want to get a handle on my weight issues. My BMI is probably 33.4. I continue to increse my weight each year and I am affraid it will get to severely obese. What is the long term success of keeping the weight off once banded. Thanks for any information you guys can provide.
