I had my second fill 3 days ago and got 3cc making a total of 6cc in a 10cc band. I still dont feel the restriction that everyone is talking of. Had a really bad running stomach from the stuff that they made me drink in xray, but feeling better now. I am watching what i eat but have had some salad and crackers as well. When will I feel the restriction that everyone is talking of???????

Well here's my story for you because I also have a 10cc band. I had 5cc in there for the longest time and hit a plateau for TEN months!! I thought because I wasnt gaining and I was having to yak once in a while I had good restriction and just needed more self discipline (if I had that I wouldnt need the band!) Anyway I went to a doc a lot closer to my house and she said half full is NOTHING! and she couldnt believe I hadnt gained it all back. She literally injected the fill with me chugging water at the same time. When I choked on it she stopped. So now I am at 6.7 (I think) and for the first month I could barely eat solids and it was hard to get ENOUGH calories in! I lost ten pounds that month and it has loosened up a little. Why did I wait to get serious about this fill???Good luck.

Wow, my experience was totally different. I had a my second fill. I have a total of 4.5 in my band. I have had a difficult time eating anything for the first week. It all came back up. However, I learned how to adjust to make it work. I know everyone is different. You may just need more in your band. Trust me when I say you will know when you had enough. I often wondered how would I know. Well with this second fill...I know. Good luck!
