First of all... HUG!! Second, thank you so very much with your post. At 10 months in, I still have a way to go until I'm in a maintenance situation, but it is something I think about. Although I hate that you would have to go through any hardships, it is invaluable to me to hear your perspective.

For most of us weightloss has been and will be a lifelong committment. I'm glad that there is a blogging community and LBT to help us go through it together.

I love seeing your posts come up, and (of course) reading them. They always resonate with me no matter what is going on with me. I struggle to find anyone live to "talk to" about seemingly minor band issues and I've always found that I always can get information, support or a shoulder at this site. Feel good about you, and the tremendous work you do for yourself and the people around you..........

I hear you on that too tight thing. I had a partial unfill and went from only being able to eat a 1/8 cup of food to being able to eat a whole cup of food and being hungry 3 hours later. I've gained 4 pounds on the last few weeks since, and it's so hard to find the balance. All I want to do it eat.... now that I can!

I was banded in August and have been following along at this site since then. I don't know what my problem was but I read several of your posts before I realized you weren't associated with a musical group but that your name was a reference to the lap band (I'm not usually dense)! Anyway, I wanted to thank you for your posts. I agree with Sandradee0124 . . . they always resonate with me, too.

Hello Girlfriend and Triple HUGS and Kisses ;-)

I was reading your blog and I can relate so well to all of it. I have stayed the same for 5 months now. I can remember being as tight as I ever wanted to be and that is so NOT a good place to be.

I remember the unwanted weight plateaus, and how long they lasted. It just happens and I just had to deal with it.

I can remember not owning a scale and having to wait until I went to the Dr.'s office to get weighed in.

When I inherited a scale I started weighing myself morning, noon, and night. I was crazy. It made me crazy. Now I had to train myself only to step on it once a week. I also had to train myself to eat foods that would be helpful with my band. I found many foods left me hungry and some foods made me full for longer periods of time. I had to commit to eating foods that kept me full longer. I still have some cravings but they are more easy to deal with. I feel like I am a trained Dog!! LOL Yup imaluckydog

Blogging is such an important part of the Training Program. I know I have done a better job of working with my band because of being able to read blogs and write them. We even blogged to each other the day I was banded. I will never forget your loving support and caring. I knew I had a friend I could share my thoughts with. I didn't even know at the time if my surgery would happen that day. I am so happy to say that you empowered me by saying it is was up to me to create my own destiny.

I love playing with my band and I will always be a member of your band. Love you BandGroupie and Happy Thanksgiving.

Best wishes, imaluckydog
