So today is 6 days post op and I woke up today feeling soo so much better. I am still really sick of soup - I hate soup now, I think of soup and get very angry - like the hulk! I have to go back to work tomorrow and really would just rather win the lotto, become independently wealthy and just stay home for the rest of my life - however, here in the real world....yeah, back to work. I am a little worried about that, because I feel pretty weak and tired, but what the hell - I'll give it a try. Today - I was so sick of soup that I mashed up a turkey pot pie and made it mushy and ate half of it - at least it was real food. The protein....OMG - it is sooo yucky! :scared2: Who makes this stuff? I feel like I am 3 years old holding my nose shut to drink it - seriously. I weigh 20 pounds less than when I started this whole deal, so that's good - but I dont really see it.

It's been 6 days for me as well. I am sick of soupless soup.lol I am sick of the protein mixes. I am having trouble getting them down. I try my best though. A week from now I am to go on to mushie foods and I broke down today and mushed up tuna and light mayo and 1 eggin the blender and ate 2 spoonfuls of it slowly. I am dizzy and tired, but hey, it is a major surgery and it takes a while for the body to heal. I am not eating foods that are not nutrious if I cheat, which is only because I am not getting the proper protein. I've ordered gummy bear vitamins and I got some calcium caramel chews that contain vitamin D as well. I got up from a nap and I had dreamed that I ate a lot of food and gained back a lot of weight. It was a horrible dream - (napmare)! lol I have lost 18 lbs since I have started the liquid diet. I lost the most recent 2 or 3, since I came home from the surgery. However, I know I am not getting in the proper protein. I am going to keep trying though. I do feel good. I can finally get out of bed all by myself. The pain is mostly soreness now. Much of the gas has left; however, I still feel some every now and then. I haven't taken any additional pain meds for the past 2 days. My husband went to get me some liquid Tylenol and the pharmacy told him they had to pull it off the shelf because something was wrong with it. Oh, well, I was just concerned about headaches. I didn't have one for a while, so I guess I wont think about it. I hope your day at work went well.

When I go to reply back to people from my email informing me I got a lapband message, I sign on and then I can't find the person who replied to me. So, please bear with me until I figure this out. I find it a little confusing, but that's just me. Hope all is well with you!

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️

      Einarmige Banditen
