I am so sorry. I guess we all know this sort of thing is a possibility, but of course we all hope something bad does not happen. Prayers for your surgery and that your band can be replaced.

Sorry to hear your having this problem, I haven't had my surgery yet, I'm hoping for January. Hearing stories like this terrify me, but I know this is the best decision for me, as I'm sure you did too. I guess we all go in knowing that there could be issues that could arise and we must deal with them as they come. I hope that everything works out for you for the best!!

That is horrible, I'm so sorry!! I wonder why, if they fluoro, they would try to do a fill without using it. That seems weird.

I wish you the best on your surgery and getting it fixed. Maybe it will a better case scenario when they see it.

I don't quite see how not being able to find your port for a fill has anything to do with your band coming off or being embedded in your stomach. If this did happen, why can they not see it on the xray? Have you thought of getting a second opinion?
