Atkins could possibly work. I would also try to add a little exercise like walking. Good luck with your weight loss!

I lost 13 pounds in the 4 days I was on liquids only. I didn't cheat so I am assuming if you drink slimfast, protein shakes, eat sugar free jello, sugar free fudge bars for 4 days it's possible. I didn't work out either. I was stressed though with my family eating burgers, fries, and cake all around me.

My pre-surgery diet was 3 protein shakes a day..so I found and absolutely love EAS Myoplex Lite shakes. I also agree with Shurmeka and Dadkins...walking, sugar free snacks will also help. Good Luck! If this was doctor ordered for the surgery you really need to stick to the plan to make the surgery smoother and prepare you for a smoother recovery! Once again good luck with your journey!

I was supposed to do the Atkins 2 weeks before & failed because my birthday and Anniversary were right before my band date. I wasn't required to loose weight but to shrink my liver I went on a liquid diet 4 days before & lost 7 lbs without excerise. I think I even had baked fish & cabbage one day. Lots of sugar free liquids. I like the Slim Fast Protein drinks too & sugar free jello. Good luck!!
