At work on Friday the woman I have given all of my over sized clothes to handed me 2 coupons for the Avenue. They are having a huge sale this weekend - 31% off everything in the store, off your total purchase, including sale items. This will probably be the last time I have to shop in a big-girl's store.

I went yesterday to the Avenue near my father-in-law's place and got 3 tops in an 18/20. I really liked the tops and especially the price, so today I went to a different Avenue near my house and got 3 additional tops in an 18/20 and 2 in 14/16. I figured, why not? I'll eventually fit into them, right?

I had just finished at the gym, so I was all sweaty and couldn't try anything on, but I am a firm 18/20 right now. I remember just a short time ago being a 26-28. I weighed in today at 212.2:thumbup:. Just 2.3 to get out of the double digits. I can't wait. I count 10 lbs at a time, so 209, here I come!

You can get your own coupon at www.avenue.com. Today is the last day of the 31% sale, so if you need some new things at a really great price, check it out.

Have a great day everyone.

When I started this journey I was a TIGHT 22/24 and now I'm a comfortable 18/20. I love shopping at the Avenue...it's funny I didn't like it so much when I was heavier.

It's so nice to watch the numbers go down on the scale...I was stuck at 245 for the longest time. I started back at the gym this week and coming here for inspiration/support and when I stepped on the scale yesterday...242! It's such a rush to see a lower number! My mini goal are 10lbs a pop also so I look forward to 235!

Congrats on the new smaller clothes!!!!

I am just like you! I started this journey a "TIGHT" size 24. However, I refused to buy anymore clothes when I knew that I was having this surgery. I am at almost 3 month and have loss 37 pounds. Yeah! I know exactly how you feel about the sizes. I went for the first time yesterday to buy me some new "transition" clothes. It was so nice to buy a 22 and have it fit comfortable. I know I really was a 26/28 before (just refused to admit it). I love seeing your progress in your pictures. If I knew how to add pictures currently, I would add mine.

Keep up the great effort! You are doing so great! :)
