good luck... I have my surgery date on 11/19/10.. I feel very nervous and scared.. .

These feelings are absolutely normal!!! I felt the same exact same way.

I think its good you're reading those failure stories that way you learn from others mistakes and even know what to look out for. Everything will turn out great, you'll see.

I'm feeling the same was. I get banded on this coming Tuesday. I'm so excited but scared too. I have been on the pre-op diet since the 12th and have lost 6 lbs. Good luck. :thumbup:

omg I'm going to have surgery on the 27th and been on the pre-op since Wednesday. I thought I was the only one feeling nervous. Honestly this pre-op diet is the worst. I just want it over with I'm scared about after the surgery as well, but I know I can handle the broth and mushy food that's not an issue. I just don't know why now I'm jittery, I mean I had 6+ months to prepare physically and mentally ; (

Nervous was not the word for me. I was SCARED AS HELL!!! I was banded yesterday 10/15. One day post-op & I feel great! Sipping clear fluids all day a lil gas. Cried the whole time they prepared me for surgery. I think I was more afraid of not waking up after surgery than anything. Reading others stories gives you an idea of what to expect but just like pregnancies..each one is different. Good Luck to you! You'll be fine.
