I just need food at this point, I am hungry...tomorrow the dr will ok me to do protein shakes which will help alot...but right now all I can think about is eating....I started off the mid morning by licking my daughters twinkie, not the cream, just the cake, didn't actually eat it, just licked it! I did the same thing an hour ago with ketchup, just licked a tiny bit off the side of the plate i picked up....I think that I am losing my mind!!!!!:cursing:

No, you are not losing your mind! LOL! I think there are plenty of people on here that did the same exact things or worse! I would chew food to get the flavor and spit it back out right after surgery! It felt so weird at first but I still do it to this day.

Many of us probably have stories similar to this. I sucked on olives. Its the flavor I guess? Just be careful not to take a bite! Not that one bite will send you on a path to not being compliant; it might not feel so good going down and end up coming back up :-).

Take care of you!

Thanks, I am too scared to actually eat anything at this point...I have 14 more days of liquids.....I will stick to this no matter what....even if I have to lick something every day...I will not eat it!
