A little something on my mind...

I am sitting in my office and I started thinking about a blog I read earlier today. And now it's got me wondering something.

When you get the stomach flu...does the Lap Band make you feel even worse? What happens if you can't physically drive to the hospital to get some fluid taken out of your band?

Little things pop in my head and I start to worry, so I thought I'd ask the pro's!

My surgeon's office said that they call in medicine for the nausea. And, if there is an overfill, they will get you right in to take fluid out. Worst case scenario, they have trained emergency room personnel at a local hospital to take fluid out of a band.

For me...seems like my stomach is way more sensitive since the band. I personally had to go through the ER because I had moved from another state and was battling trying to find a Doctor to take over my care. Although going through being sick and having surgery to fix my slip was a nightmare...I found a phenominal Doctor in the process.
