I really started thinking about the surgery last night and I just started freaking out , which led to some crying. All the negative and crazy thoughts started crossing my mind :bored:. So I look to my husband for some comfort and encouraging words... and what does he do? He keeps on snoring :sneaky:. So there I am in the dark, feeling all alone with these crazy thoughts in my head .

And then I started watching Grey's Anatomy since I couldn't sleep... oh God, what was that for?!?

But I'm ok today

I received a call from the hospital telling me that they changed my surgery for 10am instead of 1:30pm... YAY! :crying: It's gonna be great!!!

Dude, I TOTALLY did the same thing right before surgery and I think it is totally normal. Best of luck to you! I'm sure it will go perfectly.

We all worry about change because we are creatures of habit. Change is scary. I wondered if I would be able to eat very small portions and not have pasta, bread, potatoes, rice and other carbs for about a year. You know what, I can do it and so can you. You are giving yourself the best gift you can, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

@LoseIt: Its good to know that I wasn't the only one. Thank You.

@Malassis: I will definitely be posting about my experience. I'll have my comp right by my side in the hospital room, lol.

@Bklynike: I also thought about the pasta, bread, and especially the RICE!!! And yea, change is scary but I know its necessary.... I know I'll appreciate it as well as my son will because I'll be a more active mommy :)
