I haven't posted in a while. I have lost a total of 55lbs. I am now 188 lbs. My goal is to be about 140. The last few months have been slow, but since my last fill about a week ago I can't seem to keep any solid food down. Although I can have smoothies and protein shakes and protein bars.:unsure:I am hesitant to go back to the doctor for an un-fill since I am losing again. Has anyone else been through this?

Yes and I stayed that way for two weeks, I was so miserable. Everything was coming up if I ate anything solid. I did go in for an unfill of .o2 CC's, just that little and it made a world of difference for me. I asked for it!!! I never thought I would, cause I felt like I was failing the band, the Dr., and most of all myself. But you will get more weight loss by eating right, I began to lose after that and felt good too. I was getting my electrolites off and out of kilter, felt dizzy too and not getting enough of the right kinds of protiens and vitamins that you get from food. If it does not let up soon see the Dr. you could also have hair loss problems if you don't. You have done an awesome job so far, 55 lbs that is great! I am 94 down in 13 mos, so I am proud too, the loss slows down the last six months or so, that is when I get into more exercise to tone the skin! God Bless You.

Hi Cathie, I just went through the same thing. I had my second fill on 9/1 (now I have 8cc in a 15cc band) and off and on for about three days I could not keep anything down. I was just about ready to call my doc for an unfill, but decided to give it another day. I started over just taking in smaller amts and it was fine. I did take something for nausea twice (Phenergan). I'm glad no unfill was needed, but if it had been I would not beat myself up about it. This is a journey, and nothing is set in stone. Shar

If you are not much better in a few days I would consider an unfill. If you have had a failry large fill, it will take your body time to adjust. Be careful remember if your not getting in enough calories you will sabatoge all your efforts and it is just about as bad as eating too much. Keep taking in your protien. It will keep your energy up and your hair from falling out!! Been there done the bald thing not fun. lol God bless and good luck.
