Ok....I know that everyones different. I have been reading through blogs trying to find someone with my situation but cannot find them. I had my surgery 5/15 (exactly 3 months yesterday). I have only lost a total of 10 pounds since surgery. I am not eating terribly. I watch what I eat but I don't feel that fullness that many people have been experiencing. I havent realy been working out due to my personal schedule. But even if I thought at least more weight would have been lost...

So yesterday was my third fill and I am hoping that this will show some improvement. I had half a sandwich and felt good...not full but good. I had the other half for lunch and a very small dinner......I even managed to go on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I truly hope that the weight will start coming off.

If anyone has any suggestions or maybe has had the same experience at one point PLEASE let me know that I'm not alone. :)

Thanks!

Slow and steady win the race! :) 10 lbs in 3months is good! Thats almost a lb a week. And a lb a wk is 54 lbs in a yr. I think sometimes when you lose slowly it's easier to stay off. Don't feel bad, let your body adjust and do it's thing! Stay positive and keep us posted! :) GL you are doing great!

One thing that I learned was to eat until I was satisfied not until I was full. Also, you said you were eating "sandwiches" maybe you should take away the bread?? I eat meat roll ups..a slice of lean meat with cheese rolled up in it. I may eat 2 but no more than three for lunch and they will fill me up. Then for a snack if necessary a Greek yogurt. I guess what I am trying to say is cut back in the carb area that would really help. 30 Minutes on the treadmill is excellent!!! Think positive. Having a positive attitude is also a key factor in this as well! I wish you the very best!!

Have you ever been checked for PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)? It is harder to lose with that. Also if you are not eating enough your body goes into starvation mode and you actually have to eat more to lose!!! I use www.myfitnesspal.com to track my calories just started using the site this week and I love it and it's FREE! Also when you build muscle you gain muscle "weight" so that could be another issue if you were previously seditary and now are actively exercising. Just some positvie thoughts that may help. Keep us posted!

The biggest thing I've struggled with is learning to love myself and not be hard on myself no matter what the scale says, a pair of pants feels like, or whether or not someone compliments me. I've struggled with the self-image situation for years and I feel that is as much as any other accomplishment. I got banded 5/26, and I've had some struggles with the weight, motivation, sadness. Over the last couple weeks I really have started to give myself a pat on the back a couple times a week for small things -- a workout, a walk, extra water. And remember, if you lose a pound a week for a year? You will be 52 pounds lighter than you are today?!!! That is amazing!
