Ok... I have now had the band for 2 years. I hit my lowest weight in December 2009. 138#. Since then, I have changed to a new medication, had a fill withdrawal and have gained back 25 pounds. I cannot completely blame the medication or the withdrawal. I have been eating junk. Plain and simple. And I have my hardest time in the evenings.... eating right before bed. Yesterday, because i have been having a bad few weeks, i went to Walmart and bought a bag of the M&M Pretzels and a bag of the small Reeces Peanut Butter cups. I ate exactly half of each bag. Along with a cup of tea, that was my dinner. :)

So it is time to get things back under control. I plan to finish off the two bags of junk tongiht. Make myself sick on them. Saturday I have a fill in Lubbock. This is my last splurge. I will be back down in the 130's by this December.

I will start tracking my food and exercise here on a daily basis. Wish me luck...

Good Luck! Here's my new motto...The food looks better in the garbage than it does on me :) Catchy huh?

Yes, throw that food away. Start today. I am fat and have not been banded and you don't want to gain anymore weight. It is tooooooo hard to get off. Just like having a baby, easier going in than coming out. So, throw that junk food out. I can not wait to be banded to get this fat off me. I am starving now because my stomach is so big and wants to be fed. I want a little stomach to tell me it is full. I wish you luck but also say Start Today and get back down to where you were and you will feel beautiful. Just a thought!

2 years is amazing. I am 7 weeks. 130s by December, I just broke 230. You are an inspiration to all of us "newbies", dont' allow yourself to get so far off track that you will find it easier to keep cheating than do what you know is right.

Please throw out the junk food and get back on track. The LB is a gift, don't blow it. You had a day of junk. Go look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, do you want to continue on this road? I think not. Best of luck, we are all rooting for you.

Best way to really "see" yourself, UNDRESS, stand in front of the Mirror and ask "Is this really what I want?" It is harder to get the last 25 to 30 lbs off for me. I am happy, just not satisfied. I will not resolve to buy candy. I stay on High Protein and that helps alleviate my desire for sweets period. Oh I have them on occasion, but very seldom. One year out 91 lbs down and counting. I will pray for you to get back on track, and accept the band for what it is to you, your helper. I know that I could be farther along if I would write all the foods I eat down again and stay with an exercise routine. That is difficult at best for me at this time, but I do stay busier than ever before. And I am back on track with my eating, took me two weeks and a couple of trips to the grocery store, and correcting my husband, who slips in the goodies in front of me. He will help, he just thinks I am "Fine enough" now. I am not to my goal, so I am not Fine! I want to lose 9 more lbs in the next two months, but won't be dissapointed if it takes three or four months. God Bless You and your new efforts, we will be watching and helping to encourage you and you us! So glad to hear that two year people are out there and they are real and your photo is amazing.
