Going back to work tomorrow

Tomorrow I am heading back to work for the first time since surgery and I am very nervous! Surgery was almost 2 weeks ago and I spent my 2nd week off work at Sunset Beach NC. It was beautiful and quite and I could just do at my pace. Sometime last Wednesday, I decided to go sit on the beach and used spray on sunscreen. It must have been the end of the bottle since I have white splotches on my left upper arm in the middle of nasty red skin! As if I wasn't struggling with how I feel trying to recover, but a burn too? Seriously?! At least it isn't my entire body!

Does anyone have any advice for the scared feelings of returning to work? I work for a major stock brokerage firm and deal in a lot of money!!

I have a pretty high-profile job and I stayed home for a couple weeks as well. I actually got my hair cut, colored and some new makeup before I went back. Its pretty late to do that Sunday afternoon, but try something new -- jewelry, eyeliner, hair back. It will make you feel good about you and that's important tomorrow. Oh, do you have any aloe gel for your burn? Try that (that would be Walgreens?) Get up a little earlier so you can take your time getting ready, and pace yourself if you get a little tired.

Remember to pack your food and snacks and smile! People will be glad to see you back! Don't push yourself, and enjoy the day.

sandradee0124 - thanks so much for the pep-talk / ideas... you were right!

smithcl7 - I guess it depends on what your pain tolerance is - I thought mine was high but guess not that high! anyway - I was really fuzzy headed for the entire 2 weeks and in my job that could be very expensive.
