I'm down another pound! This just thrills me to no end! The bad news is....I'M STILL HUNGRY!! I've upped my protein intake, but it seems like I need to eat about every 3 hours. So I've been snacking on grapes or a meal replacement bar. Well...something kicked in as far as the weight dropping off again. I dunno if Doc's advice (no fill last month and calorie counts) worked or if my body just figger'd it's time to dump again...either way... YAY ME!!:tt2: Started shopping for my "gym" accessories. Found 2ft x 2ft rubber interlocking mats (6 for $19) to put on the floor of the basement and thinking of the style of elliptical I want. Right now getting basement organized is a work-out in itself!! LOL:tt2: Can't wait until Monday for my check-up. I sooooo need that fill!

Hugs to ya all!

Tina

Yeah!!! You are doing fantastic! I wish you lived by me; I'd sell you my elliptical (I have to go to the gym or I don't pay attention). It sounds like you are creating a great workout room and routine and are feeling good. Congrats and keep up the good work...........

Hey, Tina, great job. Feeling hungry stinks. Are you eating your 3-4 oz of protein, veggies and perhaps a little salad? You can always have an Isopur drink, which is 40 grams of protein per bottle and will help fill you up. Are you drinking your 64 oz of fluid a day?

I would suggest you start a food diary to make sure you are eating enough to keep you from getting hungry.

In either case, keep up the good work and best of luck with your gym. Like Sandradee, I have to go to the gym or I would find so many other things to do at home. I also don't have a basement where I could put the equipment. Have fun.

Thanks Sandradee and Bklynike! Yeah I journal food everyday, but one of the rules Doc put on me for 4 wks was "no liquid calories". So no protein drinks or even my beloved fruit smoothies (I would make my own with low fat vanilla yogurt, frozen mixed fruit, protein powder and a touch of milk...tastes just like a melted Dairy Queen Blizzard ...mmmmmm). I'll have to ask Doc on Monday if I can have my smoothies again!! I upped my food proteins and started taking Biotin for skin, hair and nails so hopefully all will be good in the vitamin department! Thanx again for the great words of encouragement!!

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
    • I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
