Just got my first fill....4.5 CC's... YAY!!!

Today I finally got my first fill; it was somewhat successful but not without a hitch. I had to go to radiology so my doctor can find my port without incident like the last time. So anyway even with the X-ray it still took him 3 tries to find the port. It did not hurt at all, just felt weird when he was entering the port.

The first time he entered, of course with the X-ray he was having a few issues entering the port so he had to try again but the machine was in the way of the needle so he had to use a smaller needle to enter the port while the machine was over me. Anyway it took about 35 minutes for the whole procedure.

Never the less I am happy and so excited. My doctor told me I should be down about 30 pounds by my next appointment which is in 30 days from now. This was the best decision I have ever made.

My doctor claims he put 4.8cc's in my band. I was resstricted for 4-5 days and then everything was back as it as before, actually it was easier to eat. I am hungry, I can eat anything with out getting stuck. I am very cautious, and I only lost 2 pounds since first fill almost 3 weeks ago. I go for another fill the 11th. I am wondering if I hit 6 weeks after my surgery and all my swelling went down. I hope you have better luck with this first fill than i did!!

      Xbox And Exercise - Kickboxing

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
