Well I am almost 3 months post op and I have just hit the 30lb mark. (Much slower than I had expected) I go for my third fill August 9th. I hope to get some restriction. I really have not seen restriction since my swelling went down. I will say that I have joined Zumba classes and I do 7 classes weekly. I have lost from a size 20 to a 16 so at least have lost inches but not sure that the surgery itself has done a whole lot! I lost most of the weight on the liquid diet and I'm sure the Zumba it the majority of the rest.

Well you are doing fine! Give yourself a lot of credit -- Zumba every day?? That is a ton! A 20 to a 16 is a great accomplishment!

Are you eating with the plan? Do you feel hungry a lot? I get another fill next Friday too, and I'm not at the sweet spot either but I lose at least 2 lbs a week every week. I feel like you do -- its my eating and my exercise so far. I can't wait until I'm in the sweet spot! It will be great once we get there because we've got the other components down already :-)

You really are doing great 30lbs in 3 months is great if you lose too fast it can cause health problems, hair loss and vitamin deficiancies. Sometimes slow is the way to go! At least you are losing and if you are exercising you could be gaining muscle which weighs more.

i'm 3 months post-op. i'm only down about 20 compared to your 30!!! so you are ahead of the game!!! ..but it's true, until you hit your "sweet spot", its not the band working, just you and your determination!!! so just think: when your band hits its sweet spot, you will REALLY move full speed ahead w/your weight loss!!!

and Zumba?? wow! that alone is a real accomplishment!!
