So I had my fill on Wednesday. He put in 4.8cc. I was fine Wed and Thursday. I stated to feel shaky and dizzy around 3pm Friday. I ate some solid food and was ok. A couple of hours later dizzy again, so I ate a little more solid. Nothing stuck, no pain everything went down fine. I started feeling dizzier around 10pm and my husband suggested drinking more so I did. I have been up all night dizzy and nauseous. I am urinating a lot so I don't think its dehydration. Now I cannot eat or drink anything without dry heaving.

I called the office the covering doctor told me to take zofran this weekend and if its still bad Monday to call my regular Dr. and I may need an unfill. This is the worst I have felt since having the procedure and I can't help

thinking it may be a virus but is that a little

coincidental. Like I said no pain in stomach just a lot of gurgling. Any advice from experienced bandsters?

When I gurgle (wow that's a weird word to spell) I'm too tight....I'd take the zofran and try sipping, very slowly, liquids, but if you're not keeping fluids down with the zofran for an extended period I'd get help.... Good luck! (and keep us updated when you can)

But with a fill Wednesday you could still be swollen? Sip G2, Vitamin Water, even a smoothie and see how that goes?

I'm where you are -- fill Monday and I get shaky and dizzy, and I am basically sipping electrolytes all day long -- but tiny sips and wait a couple mins between.

Maybe even popsicles? I read in the forum that cold is better than hot after a fill.

I hope you feel better! Hugs!!!

Sorry I haven't seen your post any sooner! I am worried..I don't like the dizziness and the throwing up. I am thinking your band is too tight (requiring an unfill..just a little will make you feel so much better). You just might not be able to eat as much as you need. How much were you eating to how much are you eating since this fill? Is it significant? Did you just cut out your carbs? It also sounds like carb withdrawals (the dizziness does). Bottom line you need to go in and see the doctor tomorrow for sure. I don't hesitate about that..that is what they are there for. I sincerely hope you feel better!! Get some rest and take care!!
