That was kind of my concern...shouldn't the pre-op include shakes and/or a low calorie dinner. My pre-op was THREE shakes a day ONLY..no FOOD at all for 14 days. I would have all the water I wanted though...

Don't mean to be critical tommygunn but if you are following your dr's directions keep on trucking!!

My doctor said 4 shakes and one meal for two weeks until surgery. Seven more days to go! Keep it going...well worth it my thinning friend!

It's weird how all the Dr's groups advocate different things and different diets. As long as you follow your plan, you are good to go. Good Luck!
