Bbq plans

So on this journey, many hurdles present themselves. Memorial Day bbq's are like the Devil to banded people. All those 'good' foods staring you down, calling your name. So here's my plan for today.

1) eat a healthy Breakfast(Hard boiled egg)

2) Great Lunch( 1 Cup salad and chicken strips)

3) Water, Water, Water, Water

4)turkey burger, no buns of course

Volleyball @ 45mins

 

Bottom Line:

My goals are bigger to me than any potato salad.

 

Have a plan and stick to it, you will feel great for it.

Food is not the enemy. It is how I have given so much power to it, that is the enemy. A bite or two of anything is possible. You can do it. Don't limit yourself to "good food" . The lapband isn't a diet but a new way of life. Smaller portions. Don't let the food get the upper hand.

Hi thinatheart, thanks for your comments. I do know that food is not the enemy, but for me the wrong foods are the enemy, even just a little bit of the wrong foods can start me down a slippery slope. Maybe later in this war with obesity, I can get to a point where food is just a source of energy, but for now, I have to be on my guard.
