So I've been thinking all week about this lapband thing. I've really psyched myself out! I'm going to the initial information session on Wednesday, May 12. I'm required to go to this information session before the surgeon will have a consult with me. Once I have my consult, I can start workng on the stuff I need to do to get my approval. It's a three month multi-disiplinary process I have to go through before the surgery. I'm so READY to get this process started! I'm 115 pounds over weight for a normal BMI. My husband doesn't want me to loose that much. I'm just ready to get started and see this through... I guess the journey starts here. My initial thoughts...I hope this show lasts! :cursing:

Hi! there your off to a good start it's nice that you have your husbands support it. It took me a while to finally decide to have surgery i had been thinkng about it for years until i finally got surgery n Jan 14,2010. I feel so good about doing it, I am loosing slowly only 26lbs since surgery but i feel amzingly good. Don't get discouraged along the way. good luck Chachis
