Trish i had soups, and V8 juice the first three days after. Then I switched to mashed potatoes, and pork and beans. I also had baked fish or chicken-boiled the chicken first then baked it. When I had a piece of chicken or fish 3/4 cup, I had a vegetable--peas, pease and carrots. Or a meat and mashed potatoes 1/2 cup. I had a half glass of 2% milk but sipped it. I also had pinto beans, and chicken noodle soup in a box. For the soup I added peas. I then had about 6 crackers with it too. After a week I was on one scrambled egg or omelet with cheese--took two multivitamins in the morning. You could also have oatmeal about 3.4 cup. Afternoon I bought me some tunasalad kits with crackers- cost about 1.25 and I would eat one at lunch. Evening times I had chicken or fish with a veggie. I ate my dinner between 5 and 6 trying not to eat after 6. If I got hungry I would try some sugarless popsicles, or pudding or jello. I of course tried to fill up on water inbetween the three meals I was having each day. Now I get up at 5 am and have coffee, at 6:30 I have a Ensure choc shake and two multivitamins. This carries me to 12 noon easily. Then it's tuna salad and crackers or mashed potatoes. I try to drink water the rest of the work day untill supper. Hope this helps a little. I now eat some regular meats like filet mignon wrapped in bacon. I first sere the meat on the stove, and then I bake it at 350 degrees for 30 min turning every 5 min. It cooks fast- you have to watch it. Cut it up into small bite size pieces with a scissors--it won't get stuck, I had that experience once--no more. I had the meat choice and a bowl of peas. Very filling. If your read throughout this forum you will see some recipes others are trying. Hope this is what your looking for.
