So it is the day after my surgery and I been home a couple hours now and boy am I uncomfortable. Anybody know any tricks to getting comfortable? I'm happy to have this done no regrets at all although I hate pain. Being my first day I am sorry to say I have not got all my liquids in but I am gonna try harder tomorrow!

I remember those first couple days trying to get all the liquid in! I swear it would take me 30 minutes to get through 2 oz! As for being uncomfortable, I remember having horrible back pain. Liquid tylenol and a heating pad helped with that. Hang in there, in a week or two you'll be feeling good

Yes, this is the roughest part of your journey. It all gets better. Take time to heal and go slow I mean SLOW with everything, moving, turning, eating...... The first couple of days seem like forever.

I look back and say OMG 9 months have gone by and it was so long ago. I needed two weeks to pamper myself and just get back into the swing of things. It is a major surgery whether you like it or not. Your body will react and all will be fine in a few days. Keep up with pain meds and walk around the house as much as you can. It really does help. Baby sips.
