I was banded on 2/09/2010 I lost 7 on pre op diet and then five withen two days of being banded. Now, NOTHING! Im getting so frustrated! What is going on? I have been eating half of what I did before and exersizing twice as much The scale has not budged sense feb 22. I am getting very discouraged. My first fill is the 11th of march. Will that make a difference?am I eating too much? not enough? Any advice would be welcome. Also I am nursing my baby does that make a difference?:tt1:

couldnt say since ive got no idea what you are eating or how much. try counting your calories (you should be avoiding liquid calories if you are on mushies or solids).

Are you journaling everything you eat and drink? Doing this may point out that you are eating more calories than you thought. It will also aid a dietitian in helping you.

This can be done with pen and paper but most use an online site like The Daily Plate.

Also, are you drinking at least 64 ounces of clear water a day? This matters more than most people are aware.

I had surgery on Dec 2 o9 and am still counting calories. I plan for around 1200 a day.. i do not want my body to think I am in starvation mode. Each of us is different you have to play around to figure out how many your body needs to lose weight. I have an Iphone and use a free app called loose it. I love it so far. Do not get frustrated if you read most of our blogs at the stage you are in now most of us can relate. patience is a hard part of this process. I always want instant gratification. i am learning that this is a long process and to love my band one day at a time.. I too make sure to drink at least a min of 2 litres of water a day. I also have green tea but do not include that into my water rations. Keep your chin up it will get better...
