Okay for a quick little update since this is my first blog... I had my surgery February 15th, 2010. In I lost 15 pounds in the first week post-op and now it will be two weeks tomorrow and I have dropped 22 pounds. I am so excited, I just hope the weight continues to come off....... :tongue_smilie:

So happy for you. I have my surgery today. I can only hope I do as well as you.

I was banded on the 22nd. I go for my first follow-up Wed. I hope mine goes just as well. Congrats! What kind of activity are you doing?

I know I haven't been in here for a while and I hope you all are doing well and continuing with your weight loss journey. I think I have been doing really well. I just had my second fill yesterday and it's going well. I now have a total of 4cc's in my band. I actually am feeling fuller today with the second fill. I am still not as active as I would like to be but that's probably because I work graveyard and have a 2 year old son, so I'm pretty much tired all of the time! I am going to bid for a different shift come July. I am down a total of 35 pounds. And I am really excited about the progress. I probably could have lost a little more, but excuses-excuses.. my son had a second birthday party and I LOVED the cake (a little too much).. now I feel like I am back on track! Anwyay, let me know how you all are doing.. Take care...

oh here is a saying that my (thin) cousin tells herself and I took the saying and think about it everytime I want to eat something that is not so great for me.....

"Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!"

It works for me, maybe it might help someone else through a tough time!!
