Time for a fill....

I wonder what can I do because I'm not feeling very hungry but I feel like I should eat because its breakfast time, or lunch time, or dinner time, and when I eat, I can eat too much. No restriction, unless I ate bread.

And what to do when everyone else is eating, or eating is an event, or people are always asking me out to eat? It feels like eating used to be something I did, and now its the center of my life because I'm trying to avoid it, or I spend alot of time choosing what I can eat, or worrying if I should even eat at all, because really, I'm not hungry enough to be having a meal.

And when you pay good money for a meal, but you are full and you should stop eating, but you dont want to waste it, so you keep going. I'm such a tight ass, I really feel bad to leave my meal not finished.

And when I'm at home, if I feel bored, I start to check the fridge. Or I even forget about the band and gulp down a drink, and then hiccup like crazy for the next 15 minutes, or dont chew enough and get stuck and curse myself for another 15 minutes.

It's these habits that I have to learn to change, and they are hard to change. The band can only help me so much, the rest is up to me. My weight hasnt changed in a week, and I know its because of all these things I havent learnt to fix yet.

Amanda you are trying to make me laugh. But your right and now we both have to control ourselves. No pain no gain, so wait untill the end of the journey when your at your desired weight and the fluid is released from your band, then you could eat again moderately, I can't wait either. Yes when you have those feelings it's time to have a fill, I just had my third, and in two days I have lost 4.4 pounds, and tomorrow's weight check should reveal even more. I wish you the best of luck and just hang in there. I know what you mean when you pay for a meal like I did in Seoul and could only take 5 bites, and not any big ones either. I still have a tight band and restriction, if I eat too much it hurts. Yes it does. and if you eat a large piece of something, the pain lasts two days-like mine, thought someone was hitting me in the chest with a sledgehammer. Anyway we are on the right road to a new beginning. Hang in there. I have been eating mash potatoes and pork and beans. Mornings for breakfast is one egg mixed with a slice of cheese. Or just a shake and two vitamins. For lunch I have a tuna salad and some crackers 5. I ate 4 hours apart today comfortable and i had to drink some water. I love that water. At night when I get the munchies, I get a sugarless popsicle. Try it. Good Luck, Ken
