Home from Surgery and I feel GREAT!

I am home from the hospital and feel great! :redface: I have been walking and have no gas pain or any other type of pain to speak of thus far. I do have a high tolerance for pain but I am sure I will feel something later tonight. I have had a couple of sips of water but taking it slow. My mouth feels like I have been on a week long drinking binge. I have never had cotton mouth this bad in my life. How long does it take for this to go away? I hope everyone else who was banded today is having a positive experience like I have so far. I still can't believe that I'm banded!:frown:

Congrats!! I am only 6 days out. And EVERY DAY is better than the last!!

Try some SF popsicles. YUM. helps the dry lips too. Don't swallow frozen chunks--lol--not so good.

I found more gas a few days out--but the walking is really a big help. As is a pillow, holding it against your stomach when you get up, or sneeze, or even sleep on your side, like a body pillow. I didn't think of this until a day or so ago-helps.
