Has anyone had their first fill and not noticed anything change?

I saw the doctor on 1/6/10 and had just over 4ml filled and I haven't noticed a change with my eating habits. Still eating the same amount of food as before.

Someone tell me they have noticed this too! What do I do now?

I just had my first fill on the 18th and I'm feeling the same as you, I have my next one on the 8th and I'm anxious for it. It's a mind over matter issue at this point.. keep up the good fight.. wait a full minute between bites, chew 30 times and you should get that full feeling again.

Wow...I have had two fills and I noticed a difference immediately. It only lasts for about a month at which time I find that I can eat more foods without much difficulty. I would definitely talk to your dr.

Yeah I think it is normal.. It is better to go slow you dont want to have to much at one fill and pay for it later.. It seems like on her it is about 5-7 fills to get to the sweet spot so I am not going to focus on how many fills it takes to get there. I know I maybe in for a few or just a couple more. I keep count of my calories and stick to the rules. I would not get to discouraged it took a long time to put the weight on and once you have your sweet spot it will get better. Take care and relax get use to your band..

Also, pay attention to how long you stay "satisfied" between meals. To me, that has been more of a help than trying to feel "full."

Hi, Finally I found someone like me!!! I was feeling desperate, because I got banded on nov 12th and I ve lost only 11 pounds. And I dont feel a huge change, I can eat almost the same amount as before, I already have had 2 fills, the first one was of 3cl, and the 2nd was of 1.5 cl. My dr says that the third one will be the "one".

I wish you luck, and dont give up, I ll let you know what happen on the third fill, its going to be on feb 15th.
