Well with the help from another on this site I am going to start my own blog, So I can look back and see how things are going or where they may have gone wrong.

I got my band Aug 24 09 and it almost didn't happen because of a mistake the clinic made with date and time and after driving 4 hours the night before to show up at 6 am and to find the doors locked and no one there after a hour wait I told hubby to just take me home. After getting back home the Dr called me and explain the oversight to me and told me to pick any day and come back and he would make sure it happened and that I was happy. Well it took me two weeks to be able to get back up there as I was doing this with only my hubby and young son knowing what I was doing so I had to work it out to leave town again with out anyone knowing why,,,, Well it was the best decison I made for me going and getting the band. I have lost 55.5 lbs already and feel like a new person. The sad part is my family that don't know, just think that I am losing the weight all on my own and at times I just want to look at them and say see it works and it wasn't a easy way out......... But I don't and just tell them thank you when someone says anything about how much thinner I am.

I do have to get back into walking on my treadmill as I have slip and not being working out these last 2 weeks. But I have stayed with in my limits of band food so still losing but would be losing better if I worked out so as of today I am walking again.
