:biggrin::wub:Dear Bandster Friends,

I am hoping that this New Year's Eve finds you happy, feeling good, and looking forward to 2010!

I had my surgery on Christmas Eve- one week ago. I am feeling great today. It was a rough few days but I am doing good, weight is dropping, and I am looking forward to my birthday in January. Life is good, Life is good!

:biggrin: I am happy to be on this path of healtier living. I want to be healthy when I hit my 40's, 50's, 60's, etc. Seeing sickness around me all of my life has been the driving force for my weight loss.

For some, telling people about their weight loss surgery is liberating, for others is scary. For me, I feel and I've responded to a few blogs about, that this journey is mine and mine alone and want to embrace this, own this, and live this. It's all about the goal and not how you get there. Get there, crawl there, fly there....any way that you do it.... congratulations!

With admiration to people who have taken charge of their lives and have chosen to live the best life possible.
