:eek:Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... I'm on a plateau!!!!

Just kidding!!! I think this is just a sign that its time to stop weighing so often. I lost 10 pounds real quick after my surgery 2 weeks ago, but I knew it was not gonna continue like that through the whole month until my first fill. My swelling is gone and I don't have much restriction. I guess this what they call 'Bandster Hell', but I refuse to see it that way. My surgeon told me my only job this month is to heal... and to NOT worry about the weightloss. Smart woman!

I have started my walking program as of two days ago. The first day, I walked one time for half an hour, but was too tired to walk a second time in the evening. Yesterday, I walked for a half hour two times (once the the AM and once in the evening). I know if I keep this up and use a little willpower about the food, I can still lose maybe a pound a week (hopefully - like a normal diet) until my first fill on 1/22.

But, I guess its time to stop weighing every other day. Maybe I should make Thursday my weigh-in day. Only three more Thursdays before my first fill!!!

Good luck with not weighing every day. 10 weeks and my scale and I have a date every morning around 8:30am...me naked, him scared as hell. LOL.

Regarding week 2 and 3, don't sweat it. I gained 2 pounds during that time. Your body is adjusting to all the trauma and depletion. Once I got my nutrition back to normal (calories about 1000 and protein about 70g) I went right back to losing.

Good luck. Doing great so far.

This is why I don't own a scale and have told myself I will ONLY weigh at my dr's office on my bi-weekly visits (minus a time or two of jumping on the gym scale). It's been soooo tempting to jump on the scale and see, but my appointment is Tuesday, I can weight til then. I know my face is thinner and my clothes are loser, one of my bras just literally slides right off me as I'm wearing it..

I was walking around the grocery store yesterday trying to keep my bra on and my jeans up.. I had a flash of me standing there with in my t-shirt and panties, wearing my bra like a mini-skirt with my jeans around my knees if I didn't hurry up and get outta there lol.

You have the right attitude for this and your surgeon seems to have prepared you for everything!
