I am 33 and I had my band done in 11/2007 I have only lost 37 pound and I have only lost six dress sizes and I am really happy about that. but I feel like I should have lost a lot more then I have. I have a 10cc realize band and I had 8.1cc in and I really didn't think I was restricted enoug so I went back to the doc and they gave me.6cc and that brought me up to 8.6cc and I ended up going back to the doc office 2 days later for unfill because it was to tight instead in ended up taking out 1 hole cc so I am back at 7.5 and I have to go back again. I am really confuse on how this hole thing works..

Having the band and getting fills don't make you lose weight.

It is how many calories you are eating and how many calories you are burning.

Are you logging what you eat? That is a start and it really helps.

Use this calculator to find your Body Mass Ratio (BMR) BMR Calculator

Your BMR is how many calories you burn with no activities.

To lose 2 pounds a week, you want to eat 1,000 calories less than your BMR every day. 500 calories less for 1 pound a week.
