Ok so December 18th was my 1 year post op. I had my last fill in July and I have only lost 6 lbs in that time period. After Thanksgiving I actually lost 3 of those pounds. I have started working out HARD and I do contribue that to gaining muscle but I feel like I have truly hit that plateau. It's coming up to a new year and I am happy to be under 200 lbs. ( 193 to be exact) My goal is 140 so I feel like I still have a long way to go. I just want to feel good again like I did back before July. Any insperation will be helpful!

Hitting under 200 was just the start, Just continue to do what your doing and do it slow. Change things up, you have to remember your body adapts to a routine. Change it up incrase your food intake from 3 meals a day to 6oz snacks about every 3-4 hours your body may need more fuel.. I did this and I have lost 200lbs since Feb 08 Im on my way to the 2yrs mark. After Each adjustment I usually do shakes for 2days then move up to soft food. So for the 24-48hours I can clense my body.. Now I just cleanse every 30days. Slow is better.

So when you say that you cleanse every 30 days is that just doing the shakes for 2 days and then soft foods? Or do you do something else. I will definently try the food intake suggestion.

Ok, so you have lost 31 pounds in a year? Is that common to wait six months between fills at this point? I am pre surgery and trying to get all the info I can. I do know it is true that your body will work like a battery and get a set memory and you have to jump start it. If you don't start taking in lower calories and slow down the food by getting fills want you stop losing? Someone fill me in.

I hit my restriction in July and that is why I haven't had another one. I go back in a couple of weeks to check up on everything. I am going to ask about what else I can do to help my weight loss.
