So this is my 3rd day and i don't think i have had any gas pain like what i have read the only thing is that my back hurts a little not that much. I feel really weak and I really don't get hungry but i know this shell all pass. Could you guys answer my question with the gas and how it feells thanks.

Gas pains can be felt in your back. They also may not hit you right away (and maybe not at all if you're lucky!). It just feels like regular gas or heartburn only stronger.

Oh honey you will know when the gas pains hit. For me it was pretty severe. It was basically in my chest and upper back. It took about 8 days post op for it to completely go away. There were days it brought me to my knees! I am 3 weeks and 3 days post op and feel wonderful. Make sure you do what the doc says. Keep walking and GOOD LUCK!

I got gas pains every which way. I got them in my lower back, I got them in my middle left back, I got them in my side (kind of like a stitch). It was horrible. I agree, you will know if you are getting them. But these back pains might be some mild gas. The ONLY thing that helped was walking. So if you want to keep it at bay, I would just walk anyway. So when did the gas hit you right after surgey or a few days after?
