Well surgery was on Tuesday the 8th , got home yesterday. Feeling ok i guess, but I have to drink Carnation instant breakfast and I am starting to hate it. What has everyone else had to drink?:tongue2: And can anyone tell me when you feel almost back to normal by like what day?

i had to drink protein shakes...they were pretty good...drink regular milk too it really helps change the taste and fill you up....i got my surgery 10/21...it took me really about 2 weeks to feel "normal" i was very tired and didn't really wanna do too much...but once you get over that hump its amazing... you start to shed the pounds off and you will realize how worth it the surgery was!

Hi Bella_in_n_out I too got my banding done on Tuesday the 8th. I have up and go cereal drink for breakfast, soup for lunch and dinner. Try custard in the carton, its runny and soothing. Today is Friday and I am feeling not too bad, a bit swollen and tight in the abs but feeling fine. Can not wait for my first fill and start seeing results.

So what did you eat the first week after? Do you remember?

The firsst week all I had was jello, applesauce, broth (I drained the broth from chicken noodle soup) and propel water. Week 2 I added pudding to the list and cream of wheat (only had it twice) and the protein shake with skim milk. By week 3 was able to add mushy foods.
