Well, it has been 10 days since my banding. I have a turned a corner feel WONDERFUL except for this itching. I have tried hydrocortisone cream around my incisions and it has not helped on bit. Does anyone have any tips? I am wondering if i am having a reaction to the tape that they used. AAGGGHHH! I know i must be healing but the itching is about to drive me insane! :thumbup:

have you tried and ice pack wrapped in a towel. I remember my grandmother telling me when I was a kid that if a cut itches, it's healing internally.

I remember that itching. Yikes!! Oh it will not last very long. I have sensitive skin and the Dr. told me it is my skins way of letting me know it is on the mend. I did use creams and mild body wash with oatmeal for itchy skin. It helped a little. I think mine lasted about a week and then I forgot about it. Best wishes imaluckydog
