So this blog falls under personal, but who better to share with then my fellow banded. I have been banded for a little over two months and have lost 30lbs. Very exciting. But, why in the world am I more insecure about myself than when i was bigger. I think the change is alot for me to adjust to as it's adjusting (my weight). Normally, when i have lost weight it's slow and slowly noticable. But, it's clearly noticable and oddly frightening. Seriously, it's causing more stress. Having to spend more money on clothes. Will my skin go back to some what normal. I seriously look at that lower roll and worry it's gonna stay and the rest of me will look like it belongs to someone elses body. ahhh, boobage shrinkage. Why do the girls have to go? Ahhhh well, good bye 42 C. With all this change comes, wanting to change other things in my life. For the better of course. But now there is all this planning and ideas and..........ok, calm down, lol. So all is great and you wonder why in the world would this chick be stressed:confused:. I needed to vent to people who may understand or even give input. I will gladly take advice or ideas. thanks for reading.:mad2:

Hi I have lost 68 pounds since I was banded in June and I still do not see myself in the mirror. I went from a size 24 to a size 16 in what seemed like over night. People call me hey skinny and I turn around to look and see who is behind me. My head has just not caught up with my body! I feel so much lighter when I walk down stairs and it is not one at a time anymore. I am lighter on my toes and my spirit is truly lighter. I smile when I wake up and when I go to bed. I find there is not enough hours is a day to do all I want to do. I love to blog and that just about says it all. So here is to HAPPY blogging. Best wishes my friend. imaluckydog

Hi JeanBeanie. many many people have common concerns after wls,Its like a part of them have been taken away. We got used to the security of the extra weight and when its gone we look to find another security zone. and for the boobage well id rather have no boobs then extra weight.Hang in there, you will adjust to the NEW YOU, and be glad the old one is gone.. Best of Luck My bandster friend ..Classicmama ( Jeanie)
